This is exactly what I want to know. I have a Ring security system that I have yet to install or subscribe to any service for. I also currently have the ring doorbell 2nd generation. For $50 more I would buy this, keep the Doorbell and give the current one that I have to my parents, however I would like to know what subscription plan it comes with.

I have purchased ring plan with annual subscription back in June.. so the next cycle starts next year in 2022.. will activating this doorbell increases the plan expiry to 2023 automatically or I need to call CS to overrides it?

I had a ring doorbell on the $3 monthly Protect Basic plan. I added Ring Alarm 10 piece from Costco, so I was under the Protect Plus for 30 day Trial. I removed the subscription for existing Ring Doorbell and had the Protect Basic cancel immediately. No issue as this is covered by Ring Protect 30 Day from Alarm which was set to expire October 2. I just now added the doorbell from Costco and now my Protect Plus sxpires September 5 2022. So I got my year, although it killed the 27 or so days left on my Alarm Trial.

If its the Plus and it would be a great deal.

The plus includes the monitoring and warranties for all Ring devices. If I may ask, can you confirm if you see the professional monitoring option in your sub by adding this device?

It is a Protect Plus trial which does include professional monitoring for 365 days. I do not see any difference between my primary and secondary homes other than one says trial with 360 days left and the other one does not.

To clarify, I was on a 30 day trial with just the alarm when I added the doorbell. The doorbell automatically extended my trial to 365 days of Protect Plus. I was a current subscriber on my primary house but just added Ring for the first time on this residence.

For me, it ended up being a $50 doorbell. Great deal!

When I activated doorbell, it automatically changed my 30 day alarm trial into a 365 day Protect Plus trial. Technically I lost ~20 days of the 30 day trial. If you want to maximize your trial, install alarm first and do not touch the doorbell at first. On day 30, install the doorbell to start your 1 year. End of the day you'll get 13 months vs just 12 months but then again you'll live without a doorbell for the first month. If you don't care about the extra month then install in any order you'd like. Hope that helps

Yes, professional monitoring is included. Verified in my app. Currently 5 days into my 365 day trial.

Checked today and the message disappeared. Checked my account in the website and seeing 365 days trial activated
