A /r/WallStreetBets user did a write up of this company. Apparently SoFi wants to be a "one stop shop" for consumer finances. They have their own payment processor, they let you take loans, etc. SoFi is allegedly projected to become a bank later this year or in 2022.

The SOFI stock also has great potential for memes.

"Popular" at 3TU & 2 comments, eh?

How much does affiliate kickback factor into the "popularity" metric lol
Shouldn't this be in "Featured" rather than the "Hot Deals" forum?

SD Staff: Heads up your SD Extension blurb has a typo:
"Step 3: One you're logged into your Slickdeals account"
*Once

edit: 1TU & 3 comments now lol
edit 2: -10 thumbs now
Would be very curious to see who the initial Upvotes were made by to pump this up to "Popular"

From my personal experience and most of the experiences I've read about, Slickdeals never delivers on their cash back promises. Their TOS on these deals say that they can refuse you for whatever reason, even though they almost always tell you that you didn't do something properly anyway.

Not giving SD clowns my money.

I did the SoFi checking account recently and got my $75 as well. For those who had issues, make sure you have no adblockers on. To be safe, I used a fresh browser with no extensions so trackers wouldn't get blocked.

Did you see the transaction in the history inside the reward portal? Mine appears illegible. Why?

Mine shows the same, even shows feedback from SoFi of the finding and still ineligible. Write SD and pray. About to close SoFi account and tell SoFi of the difficulties. It's BS IMO.

On my history it shows SoFi three times. First time is for registration and it says ineligible. Second time is for "wealth account created" and its also ineligible. Third time says "wealth account funded" and says approved.

If someone upvoted at same time you downvoted, the number would not change. If I am understanding you correctly.

Warning, I opened a SoFi Active Invest account using these instructions, I also opened a SoFi Money account a couple days prior to that, and after funding the Invest account with $1,000 and the Money account with $125 prior to that, and the SoFi website showed both accounts were funded properly status, the Slickdeals Rewards Account History page at https://loyalty.slickdeals.net/overview, showed all of my SoFi Orders as "Status: Ineligible", there are 4 total Order entries there for SoFi, including the SoFi Money account which was funded with $125. I see that "Ineligible" as a Status is explained if you hover over the "STATUS" column (i) button that is on the Rewards Account History page, explains that a status of Ineligible = "You did not purchase a valid item for an offer". I had the Slickdeals browser addon enabled in the browser, once clicking on the deal link in each of those two SoFi deal pages on Slickdeals.net, the browser addon plugin showed that the promo would be active, and I funded the account within 5 minutes of account opening in both cases, I did not have any pop up blockers active, the web browser was specifically allowing SoFi.com and Slickdeals.net domains, and I left the Rewards website open in another tab to be sure, no windows or browsers were closed during the submission and the funding of the account in either account case here. Everything was done to a tee, yet all of my orders in the Rewards Account History page show "Status: Ineligible' for every one of my 4 x SoFi orders.

There is no case that a SoFi order in my account shows anything except 'Status: Ineligible'. Take this as a bit of a warning. I have opened up a ticket in any case to get this resolved, as according to what I mentioned prior the "Status: Ineligible" according to the Account History page, means "You did not purchase a valid item for an offer", and of course I did in both cases and I took screenshots of every step to prove it. You may experience the same result even if you follow everything to the tee in the promo offers. This is not cool, and I'm certainly dissapointed currently with Slickdeals for having to even post this as a warning.
