Yes.

Also, I just bought two tubes of this Colgate toothpaste today (Saturday) and there is a $5 off 2 coupon. So it's a bit of a moneymaker at $3.55 after tax once I pick it up and get the $4.07 Wags bucks. I just recently switched to this toothpaste and love it.

I doubt it. There was fine print saying no cash back when paid with walgreens cash.

I am not sure what fine print you are referring to. No cash back is a very ambiguous phrase. Better not to use a term like just cash back unless you mean hard currency given back to you. Walgreen Rewards are not cash and they are just points added to your account. They can be redeemed towards a purchase. Otherwise, it gets very confusing.

Using Walgreen cash to earn Walgreen cash seems to be a common way to roll Walgreens cash but with a few restrictions.

From what I understand, you cannot use the Walgreen Cash to count towards a "minimum dollar amount to earn Walgreens Cash offer" and you won't earn new Walgreen Cash on the amount you pay via Walgreen cash redemption. But you do get the Walgreens cash added to your account for "buy X and get Y Walgreens cash" regardless of how you paid for it including Walgreens cash in your account.

Perhaps, others can answer definitively.

You can pay with Walgreens cash and earn Walgreens cash in this instance. You wouldn't earn it if it was a spend $10 get 5 deal, but you would earn it on a buy 2 get $4 deal. Hope that makes sense.
