Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

If anyone is worried about the rebate, I received last June's rebate for the Seasonic 750w Platinum in just under 2 months.

Was thinking about making a build with a 3080 or 3090. Is this a pretty good quality near top of the line psu for one of these? May go with 5900x as well

Most people have no issues with 850W running a 3090. Even 750W will be fine for most cases.
However there are some who have reported computer issues and fixed it by switching to a 1000W+.
There are too many variables to pin point the cause such as build quality.
Either way this Seasonic has 3 PCI-E cables and is top tier. Should be fine.

I have a 750w Corsair PSU made by Seasonic and runs my 3090 FE just fine.

Does anyone actually own one of these? How loud is the fan? I dont like that the fan is 120mm and I see a few complaints about loud fan.

I have this. It's great. No noise at all that I've ever heard. Build quality is excellent.

How stiff are the cables. I know they have in-line capacitors in them I believe?

This or Corsair HX850? Can't beat the price of this unit at the moment. Both are top tier.

Is multi-rail even worth the premium or is it just throwing money out the door? Obviously, if I'm asking the question, I probably don't need multi. But figure it's still worth asking…

I wish I bought this when I built my PC, the energy savings alone are worth the price. Buy this for any PC build, it will last you over a decade.
