amazon and walmart increased their price on these as well. for a couple dollars after 20% off coupon. i guess i will go with that route this time. od and target are getting stricter on pming. they use their own handheld device to check the price at real time. i got my amazon printout for $10.88 a couple days before but during their "realtime" handheld check amazon increased back to $12.88. too much hassle. just use 20% off coupon for instore pickup for a much better experience.

First time I did this i bought 2 AA and 2 AAA, and they only rewards 1 of each. So i returned 1 of each.

Good advice, but paying $2.50 less OOP is my definition of a much better experience.

The coupon doesn't void the 100% back in reward points? How do you check to see if you got 100% back in points on the purchase?

Noob question: I don't usually shop at OD. I don't know what to buy at OD. I don't need school supplies, water bottle, forever stamps ( got forever stamps more than 5 years ago and still have more than 30 left). I guess I would be better to buy AA batteries from some where else rather than buying from OD. But if you have another idea, please let me know. Thanks.

$16.24
$25.69 - $16.24 = $9.45 ($10.42 with tax).
$25.69 x 20%=$5.18
$9.45-5.14 = $4.31.

$4.30 cheaper with price match. $4.75 including tax savings.

That's if you buy the 24 pack. The 16 pack is about $2.50 cheaper with the price match.

If your goal is to get "free" batteries, then the 24 pack is the better deal. Many (maybe most) SDers interested in this deal want to spend as litte as possible above $10, and the batteries are just a "mcguffin".

Great deal if you plan on buying something else from Office Depot in the future.

Which nobody does.

Unless it's more batteries.

Percentage off and dollar off coupons do not void 100% back in Bonus Rewards.

There are various places to view the amount of Rewards earned and/or available. On a transaction level: My Rewards >> Rewards Activity >> Details of the specific transaction.

As PaulZ5835 noted, the limit is two total not two per SKU.

my point is its alot of hassle to pm instore. its not as easy compared to just months ago.

thanks for backing me up. yes, like i said, id rather spending a couple dollars more to avoid the instore pm. they make it more difficult and is time consuming now.

one can pm using online chat but i dont like the idea of making the payment then waiting for credits after. i want to pay what i expected at the counter.
