As with most disposable razors, they are much more coarse than refillable razors. That said, I have found Schick to be better razors than BIC. I only buy these for travel and I can get about three reasonable shaves, after that I'd be better off using a paring knife from the kitchen. Schick Quattro is my favorite refillable blade and I can go months on the same blade. That should give you an idea of the coarseness of my whiskers and how hard I am on blades.

I have sensitive skin and I use the 12 count disposable. They are the only razors I use.
