Good question, have no idea what a retargeting code is lol and i've been on slickdeals for 13 years.
Overall good company to buy parts from. They used to ship really fast, now their shipping sometimes can be very slow, fast other times.
Some parts are deals, some it's better to shop elsewhere.
Anyway my timing belt kit was $235.59 a couple weeks ago, now is $227.47, so about 3.5% cheaper than normal prices, at least for that kit, plus the 5% "retargeting code" if you can figure that out, plus 5% paypal if you have Discover. Always welcome to save money on car parts, well done OP even though you have only one post to your name, at least it's a good one.

However, this is not a great promotion for parts, perhaps for the clearance on supplies. Much prefer their occasional percentage off or $ off of minimum spend deals. Their regular prices aren't too bad especially with free shipping and they aren't like so many of the shady sourcing sites online that don't keep their own inventory.
You should price compare with eeuroparts.com especially for original brand parts who also provide free shipping above $99 spend and often cheaper than FCP Euro. The mix of things I currently had in the cart was cheaper here than with this sale at FCP Euro.

Maybe time for a big brake kit and exchange it every 2 years
If like me you're fine w/ Shell Rotella or Castrol Edge at a bit over $20 for 4+ liters on Amazon and pickup a Mahle filter as well, your oil change kit can be had for ~$65-75, depending on whether you really need to replace the drain plug.
Again, it's about what you have to have and I get why some have to have it.
Otherwise, I don't see great deals on the site...average deals.
