That's your opinion. Many people including me prefer horn tweeters over other styles. So instead of saying they are "trash" how about saying "horn tweeters don't suite my needs or taste", like an adult instead of a troll.

Yes, I used them as left/right. Wife would not allow floor standing speakers. I thought about buying another pair for rears, but I have a very good pair of BIC bookshelves from the early 1990s that paired surprisingly well.

If you don't link from Slickdeals you will get regular pricing. BTW...do a search on Klipsch if you are looking for other speakers/subs as Adorma has a lot of great deals on their speakers via SD only.

I started with mid-range Klipsch about a decade ago and slowly grew to dislike how "bright" they sounded as I became more discerning/picky about sound quality. I went ahead and upgraded to this with matching towers and surrounds a few years ago. The sound quality is excellent, but I decided it was still too bright for my tastes. My neighbor, who I sold the set to, has had them ever since and still loves them to this day. He even gets compliments from people he has over. So the love/hate for Klipsch really comes down to personal preference.
