I guess it's an OK deal - if you absolutely don't "need" more storage, and/or don't want to spend more... Although I feel like for most people like students who just need to write papers etc, you can mostly get by with Google Drive, Google Docs, and things like that

Maybe if u can't wait for Nas and want something larger than a flash drive, mount this to back of tv.
Edit: few reviews question quality of this so test the integrity when u buy it for bad sectors.

$48 for me, then I noticed the 2TB for $60, or the 4 or 5 TB for $100.. Some interesting prices on these WD BestBuy branded drives.. Too bad none are shuckable, and do you want spinning hard drives any more. I just happened to need a replacement Wii backup hd last weekend, and this cought my eye. but I decided ssd's only for me here on out..
