Way better do not buy the a80j get the q70 from costco I instead ar 1100 ish if that's your budget. The a80 has ips panel which means low contrast and gray backs

I'd get the upgraded processor and OS since the price is about the same. No real advantage to the Master Series at this point IMO.

PASS....The newer A8H( and still available) is actually the same TV with the added black frame insertion feature
The A80J and A90J are better sets than either of them

Thanks for the link. The "CJ" is the Costco version, but it is the A80J.

From rtings - "The Sony A80J OLED and the Sony A9G OLED are excellent TVs capable of completely turning off individual pixels to produce perfect blacks. That said, the A80J is a newer model with improved features and performance, particularly when it comes to peak brightness, as well as having a different processor. The A80J also has two HDMI 2.1 ports, less input lag, and is set to receive VRR support in a future update."
