Really need a good deal on a dual fuel generator/inverter right now. After dealing with gasoline and storing gasoline, I am anxious to get propane so I can store multiple cylinders and know I can keep it stored for long periods of time.

Just keep in mind that propane derates a generator's power output, and they typically don't run long on standard tanks of LP. So, it's not like LP is without its drawbacks, that's all.

I hear you.. I'm in the market too for something similar. It is very hard to find a decent tri-fuel inverter generator. Frown

Any of these generators can be dual or trifuel with a simple and reversible mod. I think they are $100 or so or DIY

The best scenario for me would be to have a natural gas "faucet" or disconnect like an RV hookup where I could roll it over and run it off my NG if need be.

Saw the smaller version of this at Costco today. No 240v though. It was $529. Was going to take a picture of the sign, but lost the other half and was in a rush!

The one our saw in Costco, is it a "inverter" type or normal generator? The small "inverter" version of this post should have 240V.

It is an open frame inverter with I believe 4500 watt output.
I didn't pay much attention after I saw that it was 120 volt only.

What does the transfer switch do on the generator? I understand there is a transfer switch panel, not sure what it would do on a generator.
