Dont know why anker is so popular on sd. It shouldnt be $29.99 to begin with and i think 19.99 is still expensive for what it is.
All of the rectangular chargers (4) I bought from them have dead ports. They say to unplug it for 10 mins or so and it'll "reset" it, but it doesn't work. I even left it unplugged for multiple days.
Their "tested to bend thousands of times" cables have all cracked on me before my other cables (Amazon and Monoprice).
They aren't worth the money. Junk with fancy advertising.

They've snuffed out all their competitors and I've noticed their pricing isn't as good anymore since they don't have to try.
Their biggest competitors include Aukey, who among others was banned from Amazon for fake reviews. Unfortunately, while Anker is believed to be legit, they're no longer playing the underdog, and have raised prices and are no longer a best-bang-for-the-buck brand.

anker price is 90% customer service. the rest is what their crap is really worth.

Searched model A9166121 and A9166 and couldn't find anything in UL, ETL, or TÜV.
If you're seeking 6 outlets with some accessory USB ports might I recommend a quick search on Amazon or Home Depot, for example.
Good luck!
Jon
Adding onto this - UL is if you want safer, ETL is bargain price safe, idk what TUV is lol.
Reason why ETL is "bargain price safe"? Once they certify as safe, it is possible (and likely) for a company to change parts to be cheaper, less safe. UL will randomly test after a product is certified safe, so a company can't pull any bait and switches with internal parts........
