We have always had iPhones but never the iPad. I bought one of these at this price 2 weeks ago from Walmart and I had bought if for me BUT the wife has now made it hers! Great purchase. Bought the Zagg brand keyboard case and am even happier now! Highly recommend if you don't have an iPad or been thinking about getting one.
I ordered one of these and it shipped and I already canceled it, no ones requested funds and no hidden charges on credit card. anyone know legality behind this? im keeping it, whatever.
it was the new iPad Air 4th gen.

The charge will pop up after a couple weeks. I have had several of these similar instances in the last few months and the charge always comes through. One time it was a month after. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you will get charged.

Don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but this is probably the worst time of year to buy an iPad (Mini, or Standard). Apple will more than likely be announcing new models 4 days from now...

These transactions work on handshake kind of method, only when the charge goes through successfully from your bank/card their system is able to generate the shipping label. It's just that your bank/card company is taking too long display it for you.

I've been using an iPad for at least 6 years, it pretty much replaced my laptop. I can even print from it easily than my desktop computer.

You're right considering it was released in March 18, 2019.
Was going to pull the trigger but might just wait for new models and compare. I am sure these sales will be more frequent soon enough.
So that kind of answers my question. Which is for about $100 more will the new one be worth the extra money? They'll probably have the buy an ipad get a target gift card to boot.
I heard the new mini 6 was gonna be more expensive. I thought the 400$ msrp was already too expensive for a mini to begin with and I'm glad I got this model from Walmart last week. It's a HUGE improvement over the mini 4. Every app I would load had an extra 3-5 second delay and the mini 5 has had no delays at all. Which makes sense it's 4x faster on geekbench so it better be a lot faster

To put into perspective if your coming from a mini 4, the mini 4 geekbench score is for single core 354 and 667 multi core, the mini 5 is 1113 single core and 2681 multi core.
To compare this, the iPhone 11 single core is 1300 and multi core is 2970
It's within a few % points of the iPhone 11 in performance. The mini 5 is no slouch.
If history serves us, most likely the mini 6 will come with the same cpu as the iPhone 12, 1575 single core 3857 multi core. And yes that's more but I doubt there's gonna be a huge difference in performance between the two unless your using your iPad for intensive tasks like lumafusion or something.
If your someone like me who uses basic apps like notes and some apps like books and Adobe reader and even multi screen use the mini 5 is a huge upgrade from any previous generation mini. You have to realize mini 1-4 basically made very small incremental increases in performance. They're all roughly really slow. All in triple digit territory of the geekbench score hence why they were so slow. Now that they are 3-4x faster then that it's a huge improvement in performance. I doubt the mini 6 will be much faster because it's not gonna see even twice the performance it's only gonna see maybe 40% improvement.
