This must be a great deal if SD staff are reposting it 6 hours later! (here)

Update, link now says "This deal was removed for not meeting our quality standards."

It's a solid camera. The main unit is beefy and heavy compared to our previous cam. Battery life is good and easily makes it all night which our previous one didn't. Video quality is pretty good in both day and night. Overall I'm happy with it. I actually bought a backup set in case we break the main unit down the road and can't find a replacement.

I own this. Pretty decent. Only complaint would be camera angle adjustment. Camera can only be tilted so little made me quite difficult to position on my baby's crib.

We owned a $70 somewhat cheapy babycam at first, but quickly upgraded to the model up from this deal (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08G8MB...YJZ9X0CXC5), and love it. Great range—I mow the lawn while monitoring), good battery life, and the picture is far superior (especially at night). The charging outlet on the monitor got a little wonky after 6 months, just changed to a different cord that stayed locked in (from dropping the monitor). The antenna also broke from dropping it, but the wires stayed connected and I just superglued the outer protective layer back together. I believe we got the model with the wide angle lens (which we used until we relocated the camera) and it was on sale for around $110-120. The pan tilt feature of the nicer model is convenient, but not sure we ever really used it outside of the setup stage (which means it really wasn't "needed"). I would definitely buy again and I would definitely recommend spending more on the camera setup and spending less on $100 outfits during the first six months (we were definitely guilty of that!) if money is a concern.

This is a great camera. I've had it for 20 months now and only 1 time I've had to reset it. It's nice it doesn't depend on WiFi, etc

I have a eufy doorbell with the eufy app. Will I be able to see this feed in that app or no?

I would recommend going with the model up from this with the motorized camera. Usually when the camera is situated, you'll be able to see your kid. But once in a while, you'll appreciate being able to modify the camera. Granted this only really applies when you're not mounting the camera. If you plan on mounting it, the deal here is a good option.

I can't comment about Newegg as a retailer though - it's been years since I've ordered from them.

I have the newer upgraded version of this. Only issue for me is the battery. Was great for the first month or two, then just went to absolute crap. Doesn't hold a charge anymore. We even got it exchanged and it did the exact same thing.

Eufy and anker products are definitely going down hill. I would myself think their products are trash. Hard to use, poor customer support, and bunch of bugs that no techs can resolve. I would avoid their products.

I doubt anyone would want to spy on your kids
It goes beyond the fact that some piece of garbage could take photos of your kid for some pedo ring.... having extra devices on your wifi that aren't necessary could act as a security issue if, for instance, the device's own lack of security allow someone to gain access to your network and wreak havoc. These Eufy's only exist on their own private network but if you do have wifi devices that must be on your own hosted wifi, separate them into their own isolated VLAN if you can. In a time when identify theft and ransomware attacks are true threats, why take chances with shoddy products?

The code works, but no add-on camera. It comes with one camera.

I have the motorized version of this baby camera, love it. Having a dedicated screen unit and RF signal is perfect. Good quality at night too. Previous to this I had a Motorola camera that connected to WIFI and you could view on your phone. But I quickly realized that there really was no point to that as I only used the monitor at night when I was in the house.

What's with all the toddler security? Are you afraid your baby is going to steal something?
