Normally $15.99 for a 12 pack. For the 12 pack I had a 20% first time S&S coupon available to use.

I believe the final price without an amazon card and only 5% S&S unlocked is $11.99

Original Price: $15.99
-20% coupon: -$2.20
-5% S&S: -$.80

Total: $11.99

With 15% S&S unlocked they ended up being $10.38 plus tax.

This got me to 15% S&S, so $10.39 before tax.

Not a great deal on AAA batteries, but a good deal on the Lithium version which is ideal for rarely-used items you want to have ready to go. They don't leak, they self-discharge at an amazingly slow rate,a nd they work well cold or hot, so they keep your [emergency] device ready for use anywhere, any time.

The Duracells are very good batteries for most needs. But they are not as good as Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAA or AA Batteries.

If you're willing and able to replace them every 8-12 months, absolutely or, better yet, go get a pack of eneloops. In two years, though, there's a good chance that the alkalines (and, in my experience especially Duracells) will leak and ruin the device. And even if they don't, they're unlikely to be operational a year to two after that.

This is what happens when you use Energizer, you run out of battery before completing the comment. Big Grin

If you are not going to use the device on a regular basis, better remove batteries. Otherwise never had duracells leak on a routinely used device like remote control, camera, toys, flashlights, etc.

Duracell is not a good battery anymore. They're just a big marketing machine living of their reputation from 10-40 years ago. The energizer max (non lithium) are much better. Last longer and don't leak.
