The offer is valid from 6-7-2021 to 9-10-2021 and only to the first 50,000 people. They don't give you the discount right at the cash register... they give you a $20 credit at some point in the future *if* you are the first 50,000. So it's impossible to know if you are going to get the $20 or not. Back when they had the $10 back on a $20 transaction, I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the $10 from PayPal. I advise you to steer clear of this one; PayPal doesn't have the best reputation at fulfilling promotions like this.

I did a similar $10 offer earlier this summer, anyone who did that one get this one to work too?
I did a similar offer at the end of the last year which worked. And I did it again earlier this summer which did not work. I am going to pass this deal this time.
Good luck with this one. Tried this out a while back (they have had this offer for quite some time). When I went to the register, I asked the clerk to scan the QR code. He asked me what the heck I was talking about. I said, "well, apparently CVS allows you to use PayPal now if you scan my QR code". Needless to say, he had no clue what I was talking about and was becoming visibly agitated as I tried explaining further.
He suggested I try scanning the code where you swipe your credit card (if you were using one). Of course, this was never going to work.
It is possible that, as many months have gone by now, it is easier and more understood to be used now. However, you're probably going to have a better shot with a younger person behind the register. They are usually more in tune with today's technology. This guy I had was older and had zero interest in me holding up his line. I think the scanner he had would've worked, but he refused to use it. Wasn't worth my hassle trying somewhere else for $10, but that's just my experience.
Edit: My offer, at the time, was $10 off. This is $20 now, but my aggravating experience still exists lol

Mine says it can be used online but the fine print says online purchases not eligible.
Worked on both Venmo and Paypal for me. Got 2x $25 target gift cards (one on each transaction). Paypal actually gave me $30 credit for spending $25 cause I guess the $10 off $20 PayPal offer stacked. So I got a total for $50 free! Not bad for a few minutes of work. Thanks op!

This was a deal shared with our college campus from CVS, they said we're allowed to share it with friends and family! Scan the QR code, save the offer, then pay at CVS with either Paypal or Venmo!
