    5. Make your first Touch Free Purchase of $20 or more using PayPal QR code at checkout
    6. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account
  • Venmo Instructions:
    1. Open Venmo App (Android or iOS)
    2. In bottom left corner of app, click "Scan"
    3. Click here and Scan QR Code
    4. Accept Permissions
    5. Click "Save for Later"
    6. Under Profile, select QR code symbol
    7. Click "Show to Pay" to being up your QR Code
      • Note, new Venmo users will need to verify identity under settings to use QR code
    8. Make your first Touch Free Purchase of $20 or more
    9. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account

The offer is valid from 6-7-2021 to 9-10-2021 and only to the first 50,000 people. They don't give you the discount right at the cash register... they give you a $20 credit at some point in the future *if* you are the first 50,000. So it's impossible to know if you are going to get the $20 or not. Back when they had the $10 back on a $20 transaction, I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the $10 from PayPal. I advise you to steer clear of this one; PayPal doesn't have the best reputation at fulfilling promotions like this.

Venmo seems to have a couple of app versions going on.
In 1st version you can see 'offers' section that will show the $10 off $20 but not show the $20 off even though it is saved.
In 2nd version, there is 'Offers & Memberships' section, where you see $20 off saved but cannot see $10 off $20 (as it is supposed to be under 'offers' section)
My wife's phone had 1st version but as soon as I used $20 off it got changed to 2nd version. Also didn't receive any notification about $10 off $20.

Amazing deal. Just went to CVS and bought 2X $25 Amazon Gift Cards.
  1. Used existing Paypal and Venmo accounts to scan the QR code. Scanned it for EACH app.
  2. Confirmed my offers were in both my accounts before going to CVS
  3. Went to CVS and bought two $25 Amazon gift cards in separate transactions. One transaction used Paypal, the other Venmo.
  4. Checked receipts in both Venmo and Paypal and shows $5 paid for each transaction
  5. Checked Paypal after going back home and verified that I also got a $10 credit through another CVS promotion
  6. Paid $0 for $50 worth of Amazon gift cards!

PayPal worked and venmo gave me an error. PayPal was a $5 money maker, with both offers.

I made a mistake did not save the offer correctly in Paypal and Venmo so when I pay for 2x25 amazon card I got charge full price, then I save the offer again in Paypal and Venmo and get another 2x25 amazon card, got charge $5 for each app + extra $10 cashback from Paypal.. pay $50 for $100 Amazon GC still great in my book lol... local CVS here does not care if i use app to pay for GC...thanks OP

I didn't get $10 credit paypal balance in paypal even I came back home to check in computer login. my paypal balance is always $0, when I made payment, it go to default credit card charge. Is it the problem I didn't get $10?
