The Lenovo website sucks so bad I can never complete a purchase from my S21 Ultra. I think it's a great deal, will buy when I get settled in at home. Gave rep. Thanks Opie I was in the market, and I like the manufacturer. Does anyone know if it uses zigbee or zwave etc?
Good deal. Seems like the reviews that are bad are all about connecting to WiFi issues. The good reviews seem to mention ease of use with Alexa or Google. So I think it's worth a shot, if you can connect it to WiFi via the app, you'll be fine.
Lenovo app to control/connect smartplugs is trash. They'll have an app update that will break it for months without addressing. I've had much better luck with tp-link or even no-name smart plugs from amazon.
If the app doesn't work, you cannot connect the plug to wifi and it becomes useless.

Have had 3+ Lenovo smart plugs and discarded them all. Do yourself a favor and avoid these if you value your time. Switched to Kasa and have had a much better experience. The Lenovo plugs have an absolutely terrible setup. Getting the wifi to work required a mix of black magic and luck. Used a variety of iOS and Android phones with different configurations and barely made 2/3+ work.

I had the exact same experience. The Lenovo smart plug is terrible.I don't think they ever update their app or their firmware. The Lenovo smart app is awful and the plug would not perform the programmed routines consistently, it was very unreliable. I love Lenovo products, so I was very disappointed m
I ended up purchasing a few Kasa smart plugs and I've been having an excellent experience for the past 18-24 months. Great app, plus integration with IFTTT and Google Home app. Very reliable, no complaints at all.
I agree with everyone about the useless Lenovo smart plugs and the terrible app. I tried with them for years and recently went with TP-Link Kasa...much MUCH better
I got the smart bulb deal and they were rebranded tuya bulbs. I was able to set them up in the tuya smart app instead of the Lenovo one that has terrible ratings.
Anyone who has these know if they're tuya as well? I only found out because I scanned the QR code on the box and the URL it wanted to open had tuya in it.

Ok, Wait! Isn't the switch's ability to connect to WiFi what the switch is all about? Your comment is....weird.

Instead of Lenovo, go for the Kasa smart plugs.
Pairing with google home is more pain.. while lenovo server is down google home too wont work.
