I'll never get over how over the top this was. Doctor Doom crying about it with the caption "Because even the worst of us, however scarred are still human. Still feel. Still mourn the random death of innocents." Completely tonally ridiculous
If your into learning a really unique perspective on the events of 9/11, you may want to check out "loose change". I mention it because it has some very interesting scientific facts in there that may make you pause and reconsider what you may have been led to believe.

Yeah I remember that and thinking it was moronic. By Marvel Universe/comic book standards 9/11 would have been a minor tragedy at best.
But this book.... They freaked out about this more than they did Thanos's snap or Galactus's doomsdaying. So moronic......
This book is almost as disguisting as Alan Jackson. Companies/artists trying to profit/increase their brand recognition using 9/11 like this are scum.

Came here for this. I bought a few physical copies when they first came out. I was in my early teens and thought it was a really touching comic without thinking much more about it, until I read a review that was like, "We get what the comic is trying to do but having villains that are terrorists that commit genocides in the comics suddenly crying about an act of terrorism is a little much."

I try click only SD staff links, and even then still have to be careful.
