Not sure what your talking about ?
But my intention was to help fellow SD members , who are in process of applying red card in those 2 days , to take advantage of this offer if they can hold in coming 2 days . 😌
So you can apply again even if you already have an existing account? Would I be better off closing my current account and applying again?
Existing account needs to have been active for atleast 90 days. When you close it, you can't just re-apply immediately and get the coupon, there's a 2-3 day cool-off period. You can however open up a different type of account and get the coupon. For example you have a Debit Card already and decide to open up a Credit Card with them.
Just signed up for the Red Debit card and got approved instantly and received the email saying card is on the way. But didn't receive any email for the $50 off $50. Those who have signed up, any idea how much time it takes for the coupon email to come?
There's no e-mail coupon. It's a physical coupon that comes with your card in 7-10 business days. The physical coupon has a unique barcode and a unique promo code on it which can allows you to double-dip and use the discount both online and in store.
I rarely shop at Target but meant to open a debit card to take advantage of the 5% they offer whenever I go in those rare times. This is great offer, so what exactly did you guys end up getting and triggered the $50 off? I not sure what to spend 50+ on?
Thank you!
Easiest thing to spend it on that has zero exclusions is groceries. If you comparison shop, you'll notice Target has several categories of groceries that are cheaper than your local supermarket.
You buy groceries. When it was $40 off $40 I bought TOILET PAPER, 3 minute microwave FROZEN MEALS, and 2-liter bottles of SODA. And other random crap I needed like EPSOM SALTS for foot soaking. Anything you want as long as it's not on the exclusion list!

card was never activated. can you still cancel and wait for cool-off period and reapply?

So if we want to take advantage of the next promotion and apply for the card again, should we wait at least 90 days before closing this debit card account?
