Not sure what your talking about ?
But my intention was to help fellow SD members , who are in process of applying red card in those 2 days , to take advantage of this offer if they can hold in coming 2 days . 😌
If you have fraud alert set on your credit report then that is one main reason why your application will not approve instantly.
I have fraud alert set on my credit report so I proactively called Target red card customer service (800-424-6888) and they transfer me to new application Target Credit Card department @ 1-866-225-7041 and rep verified my info and send me OTP via text then she released my pending app from yesterday and it was approved in 30 seconds. My card will be shipped now.
If you don't want to wait for 7-10 days then you can proactively call Target Credit Card department @ 1-866-225-7041
I hope this information will help.

This does not seem worth it for the credit card if you already have the debit card. Looks like a hard pull. Amazon has a $100 offer with a credit card. Ripped.
Technically, if you double-dip on this offer it's $100 too, but I do see your point.
People should save a screen shot of "Get $50 Off a future qualifying purchase over $50 when approved for Debit or Credit REDcard" webpage, to be safe. I did.
I believe Target has already had a security breach, so one hopes they have learnt their lesson.
Entire Equifax credit bureau had security breach last year so no systems are secure now a days!!
You are right @ Target but best option is to keep your credit frozen on all 3 credit bureaus.

How many days after cancellation can you apply again? Closed my Red debit card last week the account was opened last year in Sep, so wondering if I can try to apply again now to a take advantage of the offer.
Guess I can stack $50 coupon from this new REDcard's application with this existing REDcard's offer on a $100+ qualifying purchase and receive a $25 Target GC in the mail.
Existing account needs to have been active for atleast 90 days. When you close it, you can't just re-apply immediately and get the coupon, there's a 2-3 day cool-off period. You can however open up a different type of account and get the coupon. For example you have a Debit Card already and decide to open up a Credit Card with them.
And then next time if the deal comes back we can swap again?
In store only as they need to do a price check over the store's PA system

Man, you're naive. The "security breach" was because of the credit card readers target had installed that were present in several other retailers. Target was just the biggest name — I believe Best Buy was also included in this. Any company using those readers had their data breached, which isn't a big deal because you just cancel the card you believed to be compromised. 🤷🏼 ♂️

So if applying for Target Redcard Credit Card, which Credit Bureau do they use to check?

It shouldn't, correct since it's a debit card?
It should only run Chex, right?
