These comments ugh. I've been playing Tales of games since the early 90s. Few hours in, graphics are great for tales games, Characters I've encountered so far are pretty good. Combat is fluid and fun. Tales games were never huge AAA games that people are comparing it to.

The joy of slickdeals... all the people not actually having used the product giving their dumb two cents about it. Game is fantastic! Got about 10hrs in it over the last three days and can't wait to keep playing it more. If you love JRPGs, it's right up your alley.

You are correct this game is nothing like those. First you can play this game today on whatever platform you want and second it's a JRPG.

If you like JRPGs it appears this game is a good JRPG and supposedly the best Tales game in a while. I'm going to wait and grab this on PS5 after I finish some other stuff but for digital on XBOX this seems like a great deal. On PC you can get it a bit cheaper on some other sites.

Play the demo first. I hated the combat personally. Not my cup of tea, but there is a demo.
