Daughter got this for her birthday. My wife and kids tried it once and it rarely drew on the screen, seemed to depend on lighting and background. I'm the techy one in the house, but if my wife and kids struggle with it, let that be a benchmark. I didn't try it, so can't personally say how it went for a techy guy. I'd love to hear how others have fared. For this price, probably worth a shot, but wanted to get that point out there.

I mean you have it at home. If you're that curious, go try it out

Ok. I'm curious about the experience of others, sorry that wasn't clear. If my kids can't make it work without me, then it's probably not a good game. But maybe worth 6 bucks? Or maybe why it's 6 bucks.

It is easy to use, no connection issues, the cards are easy enough to understand for kids

Sometimes high tech is not a good thing with classic games, maybe just hang a tablet on the wall and draw by hand, should be better experience, or maybe include projector, something compact that projects drawing on the wall... Not for $6 but they can make this better, or better yet draw on tablet, stream to TV

Clearly these things didn't catch on since they're clearing them out. They were around $20 originally, at least for the 'regular' version. Commercials made it look like lots of fun, but having to have a phone pointed at the person drawing and also having to pay attention to the TV make it a bit complicated to deal with. Getting this as a Christmas gift should be fun, too, since it works based on the light color emitted by the pen....Christmas lights could make it freak out.

This is fun but make sure your device is on something stable since being held (by a kid and moving around even a little) will mess up whatever is being drawn.

I'm pretty techy, and this game was a disaster. Fought with my family the entire time. My wife was convinced I was trying to botch game night.

Funny, I bought regular Pictionary to get kids off the screen.

For $6, would it be worth it _just for the cards_? I really like the "Kids version" and "Grown ups version" of the cards, esp. since there's drawing suggestions on there! But I'd rather just draw on our easel!
