I really like my edge 130 plus. It's small and sleek and I don't need maps for my rides. It seamlessly connects and controls my kickr for zwift workouts. Even when I use navigation, it's good enough to tell me when I need to make turns and such. Battery life is also pretty good. And I paid $150 for it about three months ago. Highly recommend if you don't need detailed maps.
I have the Venu. And frankly it's a fantastic device. Can't ask for more from a fitness watch that looks good.

I can't vouch for all models, but my Garmin 5s has been going strong since 2017. Used everyday, tracks multiple workouts a week, been in open water a bunch and in chlorine pools... Definitely worth the dollars I paid.
