You can actually typically do 4 off of one before you run into them being choked by lack of power. With that said, I wouldn't do it either as the max per port is an amp, after that stuff will start to run slower, if at all.

I typically like to limit it to 2 fans per port just so theres plenty of extra power left over. and I'm lazy and don't want to do math XD
a brand new dust free fan will pull less current than one that's been in a system for a while. Also, a fan on a radiator or heat sink will likely pull more current as well.

In other words, there's too many variables to make it worth risking for me or systems I build for other people. While I'm not endorsing this particular product, I have used fan and RGB hubs in the past partially for the above reason, but mostly to keep the motherboard clear of the rats-nest of fan and RGB cables once you start populating all the available headers.

I'm a little disappointed that there's no ARGB on the ARGB controller. It'll be like, eh dawg I heard you like ARGB so I put ARGB on your ARGB controller

Can't wait for this to become electronic bell bottoms... waste of fabric/carbon emissions

If you have a case with RGB fans and an RGB mother board, you can replace all your perfectly good RGB fans with ARGB fans and not use your motherboards RGB controller just for the glamour of it. Confused

It's used if you are running a heavy ARGB build. Trust me. You'll need a splitter.

I picked this up in the past and returned it. The casing around the pwm headers were much tighter then the standard sized argb headers. I did notice cooler master fans headers are a tad skinnier. If you're finding it to be tight, you can shave off a few cm to get it to fit.

I use this hub. As others have stated the headers are a little smaller and sometimes don't fit other brand fans. I have all Coolermaster Halo fans and a Coolermaster ML240 Illusion running through it so they all connect fine.

I think the hub is great and makes it easy to run all my fans and ARGB into just two (one fan, one ARGB) headers on the motherboard.
