The vanilla prime (no plus) is also the same price from the same seller. RTINGS indicates it has much better click latency than the plus version. I would personally prefer that to the OLED screen gimmick.

Also note that many Amazon reviews report premature scroll wheel failure

Seems like a solid deal. I honestly think steelseries peripherals are the best out there. I currently use their aerox 3 wireless and love it. I'm pretty sure this would be a downgrade but am interested in the double lift off sensors to see if that helps.

Thanks for the input. Got the non-plus on your advice. Click latency difference seemed significant

Depends on if you prefer ergo shape of the prime, imo the G303 shroud edition isn't worth it for quadruple the price even if the shape was popular 10 years ago

This is a pretty basic and standard mouse. Not sure how it took Steel Series and 100 professionals to make it.

Currently using the Prime Wireless mouse. Not sure if it's because I press too hard or not, but I got tired of yet another Logitech mouse running into double click issues and decided I wanted a mouse with a different click mechanism. I even tried repairing my (former favorite G604) mouse with switches rated for 1 million plus clicks. All bunk. This one has a different optical magnetic switch. After daily use for about a year so far I have no complaints. The shape/material feels really good in my hand and it's a lot lighter than my old Logitech mice which required 1 or 2 AA batteries. I didn't realize how fatigued my hand was getting from the heavier mice, and I'm not ever going back.

One observation I have is that it feels like I need to press ever so slightly harder to get the actuation to click on this mouse, but for the (supposed) durability, I don't mind. We'll see if this one doesn't fall apart like all the others in my graveyard of 10+ (mostly Logitech) mice.

I have about $15 in Amazon credit. Is this mouse worth ~$12.80? I mean no double-click issues before 3 years?

Couldn't you recycle those old mice in the outside bins at Best Buy (instead of hanging onto them)?
