This deal is back (was an August 2021 deal at $10 more (

Apart from the refresh rate being lower than what a lot of gamers would prefer, seems like it ticks a lot of the other desired boxes including 100x100 VESA mount. If you're a work-from-home professional, this seems like a worthwhile splurge to create a nice dual-monitor setup for some amazing coding/spreadsheet efficiency (probably want to use 150% scaling since this is a 4k monitor).

I know I was also considering the Costco deal for the Acer 32" 1440p monitor at the same price. Basically besides the size difference the 32" inch upgrades you from 60hz to 75hz. In terms for what you actually see, the 28" 4k the pixel pitch is 0.16mm and the 32" 1440P pixel pitch is 0.2727mm so *on paper* the image quality for the 28" is better. But that might be a theoretical better than "easily apparent" better.

I'd rather just buy a 32" 1440p or 32" 4K monitor over this. Like this: https://www.costco.com/lg-32%22-c...93227.html

Since it was DOA thus I can't give any feedback on the image quality or such. I can say that the monitor had some very nice features, for example the right/left/top bezels were extremely thin and you could park dual monitors right next to each other. The monitor is a bit thicker than I would have expected, probably a good 5-6 inches / 12-14 cm or so around the midsection whereas my older 24" monitor is around 3 inches / 8 cm. That might not be an issue for most but just in case I figured I would call that out.
For office use, I would say the size is probably on the upper end of what I feel would be ideal for dual screen purposes (I have a dual articulating arm stand on my desk which puts the monitors just at about arm distance away).
If anyone has any questions I can answer given the constraints of the monitor being DOA then I'll happily answer them.
4k on a 28" is perfectly fine. use scaling
Also, it's Costco, send it back if you don't like it.
