Be aware that this printer comes with low volume toner cartridges. Expect to pay about $80 each x4 when they run out, which seems come faster that you'd think. Also, do yourself a favor and read up on how to reset the "out of toner" warning. I've found that there's always much more toner left and you can't resume printing unless this is reset or you replace the cartridge. Good printer, but not as cheap to print as I would have thought.

Managed to grab one at Staples a month or so back when it was in stock for a few minutes. Love this printer. The single-pass duplex scanning is terrific.

You can get toner from staples right now with 20 off 100 coupon (need filler to reach 100) and 20% back through rewards. Staples also sell a third-party one with much lower price comparing to brother generic.

There are so many different generic toners good for Bother printers on Amazon priced from $8. I only buy the OEM black toner for sharp text.

If anyone really prefers OEM toners, you can wait and get it from Staples. They run a promotion almost every month, i.e., 40% Staples rewards on toner purchase of $175 or more. You can use a $20/$25/$30 coupon on the order as well. Buy the color toners with 40% back on Staples rewards. Once the reward dollars are credited, use them to purchase a black toner. This will save you a lot of $$$.
