Not sure how many of you stay in hotels often, but many wall outlets have a hard time holding onto even the small Apple charger. I can't imagine having a full-blown battery trying to hang in there. Just something to keep in mind if you travel a lot.šŸ™‚

I actually travel for a living, and I don't recall using any of the wall outlets at all because the plugs on the desk/nightstand lamp are more than enough for all my things that needed to be charged. But I can see it's definitely not going to hang in the airplane outlet.

Why did Amazon ban Aukey? I bought aa Aukey charger for my iPhone I haven't used yet, but have been using an Anker charger instead I also bought.

Any idea why? I bought those airpod wannabe's a while back -_-
Here's your answer:
Amazon's removal of Aukey, RAVPower and other brands is 'only the beginning

Alternate Moral;
Don't post fake reviews in the first place.

Now that's just ethical. How you suppose to compete with the big boys like Anker, Auker, and Ankey? Change their name or something from Aukey to Aukeey?

Never had that problem in the Four Seasons hotel or The Mark.

I got in on the last deal. Be aware this is likely old stock. Mine came in with a dead battery and the capacity seemed much less than 5000 mAh. Only enough for about 1 phone charge, not 1.5-2 charges that I would normally get out of 5000. I expected this since it's an old model, so I'm still fine with my purchase, just FYI. I use it as a backup power source in my backpack. Plug in when available otherwise there is a little battery juice if I'm desperate.

I have an older version of this and absolutely love it. Some wall outlets suck and won't hold onto it, but other than I really have no complaints. I find myself almost never using my large power banks anymore because of this one.

Now when are we going to get a wall charger, power bank, and wireless charging pad all in one? Do those exist yet?

I bought a power bank that was a wireless charger recently (was one of those companies that shall not be named, actually its named in this thread so I guess its fine, lol, Aukey)

These retail prices and discounts are a big turd. This product just came out with no reviews and its already "discounted" more than 50%. A 30w non gan charger is about 12$ and 5000 mah battery is around 10$. You combine both in the same housing and it should be a bit cheaper. I'd wait for the sub 20$ price point or one that has gan.
You brought me to my senses. I saw Anker, 30W fast charging for $22 and immediately made the purchase. I kind of assumed it was GaN without really looking into it even though it looked a bit chunky compared the the GaN 30W chargers. Also 30W is a bit anemic for charging a laptop, for a 13" MBP it would only charge while not in use, not sure about an M1 Air.

I think $23 is a fair price for what this is, but its not really that slick. I canceled my order and will probably wait until they release this product with a 65W capacity in the same form factor (or just wait for a 65W GaN adapter without a battery).

Honestly, I probably will cancel my order now, now that I see this is a 2+ year old power bank, looking at Best Buy's oldest reviews. Best Buy has this model on clearance too but they make no effort to be competitive on power banks or accessories, so they can promote their Insignia brand
