Just contact support. Ask for discounted gold. I get 12 credits for $100 plus tax… done it last 3 or 4 times.

My local library has an app for renting audiobooks. I found a lot of audiobooks that I wanted there. The only drawback is I have to wait until it becomes available and have a limit on how long I can keep it. But i was pleasantly surprised by the availability.

It comes out to $7.45 per month/credit. Audio books usually cost more than that, so it mostly depends on if you like audio books enough to buy in for 12 of them. There have been some better deals for short term, like free trials with 1-2 credits or 2-4 months at a better discount. I'm currently on my last month of a 4 months for $6.95 deal. But for an annual deal, this is the best I've ever seen. Other upsides to having an active membership is that it makes you eligible for their sales and also their "plus" catalog, which is a selection of free titles on a rotating basis

For those with Chase credit cards, one of their offers is for 15% off an Audible subscription up to $4.50 max. So while it isn't much, it brings this down to $85.
