This is a 280Hz refresh 1080p. You can't find 1440p at this refresh rate, let alone for this price. Rtings has the bigger brother VG279QM as their best 1080p 240Hz monitor, and this as the best if you want a slightly smaller size.
It is an excellent monitor.
But, feel free to find me a top-rated, 240Hz+ 1440p 25" monitor for this price.
For anyone reading, this is a great monitor for you if you do higher FPS gaming. If you do 60Hz gaming, the input lag is higher. So, if you're thinking of serious gaming at that rate, don't get this.

Seems high for 1080p. Should be a 1440p for this price imo

Awesome deal! I ordered three of the VG259Q 144Hz monitors for $209/each two days ago directly from Asus for three of my six children (two using 1650 Supers/one using a 1070). Oh well, I just ordered a VG259QM for my oldest son (using a 2070 Super) who has been using my Asus PG259QNR while I'm waiting for a new desk. This VG259QM will be a good fit for him since the stand will take up less room on his desk and he won't notice the difference between 280Hz vs 360Hz.

Honestly, a high quality 240-280Hz monitor is better than a 360Hz monitor that is cheap quality, despite the specs sound better on paper. Even if you find one that is at this price, it's not going to perform as well. You're spending at least $100-150 more for a high quality 360Hz monitor. So, you're doing good on this.

Why is the input lag higher if gaming at lower refresh rates?
Why is the input lag higher if gaming at lower refresh rates?
As far as I'm aware, technically speaking the input lag doesn't go up with lower refresh rates. However, your inability to provide meaningful input goes up as your refresh rate goes down. To take it to an extreme, if you game at 1Hz you'll only see a single frame every second, which means you'll only have the opportunity to provide meaningful input once every second. Hope that makes sense.

This is plenty big for 1080 resolution.
