This is a 280Hz refresh 1080p. You can't find 1440p at this refresh rate, let alone for this price. Rtings has the bigger brother VG279QM as their best 1080p 240Hz monitor, and this as the best if you want a slightly smaller size.
It is an excellent monitor.
But, feel free to find me a top-rated, 240Hz+ 1440p 25" monitor for this price.
For anyone reading, this is a great monitor for you if you do higher FPS gaming. If you do 60Hz gaming, the input lag is higher. So, if you're thinking of serious gaming at that rate, don't get this.

Great price for high refresh 240Hz+ monitor. Been using a 1080p 144Hz G-sync IPS monitor for a couple years (EX2410) and definitely would upgrade to 240Hz if possible if I wasn't looking closely at 1440p 165Hz IPS G-sync options.
Placebo? Wait what? This is essential for fast paced and/or competative gaming. The motion is so much smoother and input so much more responsive there is no going back to lower refresh.
Totally depends on the game. Many highly competative games that benefit the most from fast framerates have low requirements, like CSGO, Valorant, most battle royales like PUBG/Apex/etc. will all hit 150fps+ easily on medium settings. i5-10400F or Ryzen 5600X with any RTX 2060 better GPU can do it. Especially if the game supports Nvidia features like DLSS quality and Reflex.
Amazon has this in the "Used Acceptable" condition for $183. I purchased this literally 2 weeks ago in this condition and the monitor is perfect sans missing some 3 dollar screws. Amazon even took an additional 20 bucks off the monitor because it was missing the screws. Literally, nothing else was wrong with the monitor, no dead pixels, no damage (ANYWHERE). Highly recommend the monitor as well, it's great.
