Link to the Newegg model that looks the same at first glance, but isn't: https://www.newegg.com/black-acer...68240113
Here is the matching model at Newegg for $289: https://www.newegg.com/black-acer...68240112
I bought this for work, but for the same price, and since I also game, the OD P model was the move. I couldn't find this model close to this price and in stock anywhere else, but I didn't look long so as to not risk this one going out of stock in case OD only had like 5 of them.

Note that I tried out the HDR setting on the monitor along with enabling HDR in Windows both for desktop and for the game, and it isn't real HDR and looked worse than with everything set to SDR imho, I only messed with settings for a bit to try and fix it, but didn't care so didn't spend too much time on it.
Also, the blacks on this monitor are pretty faded(SDR and HDR), the blacks aren't deep at all, kind of reddish brown. This monitor is is mounted right next to a Predator X34 that obviously has WAY better blacks (it better for six times the price!), but note other than messing with the black level setting and the color temp settings, I didn't attempt any detailed calibrating. Perhaps I will get a spyder and try to do that if it ends up bothering me, but I think it is a great monitor for the price!
Side notes, 1) ZERO dead pixels after checking with the pixel test website, and 2) the stand really sucks, super wobbly, but I don't care as I removed the stand to mount on an arm anyway.
I ordered 3 and got 3 separate UPS tracking numbers. I received 2 in just 2 days. But I'm still waiting on the 3rd monitor. The 3rd monitor tracking says shipped but on delivery date "Check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date". 🤔
Are 1440p monitors like this typically easily driven with normal laptops? My laptops seem to drive (via HDMI) 1080p without any problems or effort at all beyond plugging it in.
Specifically checking for options on "Intel Graphics Settings" on my Win 10 laptop, does not show any modes beyond 1080p. Is anything possible for me for monitors like this one?
