For me, the Pro is the best option with USB C charging (charge and send signal to monitor at the same time) that isn't more expensive because it is clamshell only. For me, I don't need another tablet / stylus device. The biggest downsides of the Pro seem to be poor audio and a chassis that flexes on the 15" model. I've heard the 13" seems more firm.

I would not get my hopes up if I were you. I was one of those who ordered on Aug 8.
The first delivery date was Sept 3. Seemed a little long...but OK.
On Sept 1, it was delayed till Sept 14.
I called and complained about the delay. As always, they are very sorry.

So this past Sunday, it got bumped to Sept 28. Oh, but this time they told me that was GOOD NEWS as they thought it was going to be delayed 30 days.

At this point, I only have the order until I can find a deal on something else that I like.
If anybody thinks that there is a real chance of getting one of these as the holiday season starts to pick up when Samsung can't fill the orders now....well good luck with that.

And if that is not bad enough. They cant fill an order from Aug....and had 2 more sales on it since. (Can't make this crap up)

Still waiting on my Alpha as well. Chatted with customer service about it and they said the delivery date is now Sept 28 but offered me an additional 10% off (when it ships). After promotion and student discount brings the total down even further. YMMV.

Let me tell you what is coming.
After delaying my order twice....and promising a 10% discount each time, this time "Their system" just automatically canceled my order. I kid you not. They said the system timer expired. Oh, they can place another order...of course, I am then at the end of the line.

So good luck with that. You might as well get them to promise 90% off. Since they will not be shipping it, does not cost them anything.

Not same materials, 360 is all aluminum and the pro is magnesium alloy, that is why it is almost 1/3 kg lighter than the 360.

Ohhh....that is something that I have not picked up on in the review videos. The laptop that I am in the market for next does not need to move frequently so I might actually prefer the beefier model.

For a little less than $200 more you can get the 360 i7 8gb ram version that gives you a 360 hinge, touchscreen and a better processor. That is the better value in my opinion if you can afford to spend a little more.

16gb, i7 and 1tb ssd comes out to be 1007+tax
