Don't forget to play Astro's Playroom which is natively installed on your PS5. It's a fun little platformer which really takes advantage of the new controller, and a great trip down Sony's memory lane.

+1 on this, Astro's playroom is such a great game. Even my wife likes playing it and she doesn't play games at all.

Nier Replicant for $25 seems like a no-brainer. Cris Tales for $20 too, but I believe that one's on Gamepass (and I haven't heard favorable reviews for the game).

EDIT: Went ahead and ordered since everywhere else still has it listed for around 60 or 40. Wanted to play Gestalt first before Replicant, but why not.

I remember reading something about Sony not allowing free upgrades of PS4 games to PS5, but I can't remember what that was. Can someone recommend some games I should pick up now before the free upgrades end? Open to any and all suggestions!

I love HouseMarque games and tough games in general and wanted to like Returnal so bad but it's hot garbage. They don't respect the players at all. They literally told people to simply leave the game running for days to continue your play. Glad that game flopped.

PS4 version from this post will run at 60FPS in backward compat mode and that is the cheapest option. This is more than good enough. I think the director's cut edition on PS5 bump it up to 4k at 60fps but I don't think it's worth the price difference.
