Bought this monitor a few months ago, just be aware it doesn't come with an actual monitor stand you have to clamp it on your desk or drill a hole through your desk like I had to do to mount it which was easy. The monitor and stand are very heavy duty, solid price. It's usually $650 for these.

Review this video to see how this monitor works and how it installs, https://youtu.be/Vj-iaDNxr1c

I bought this last year from Costco when it came on sale. Not a gamer, and use it for productivity apps and video consumption.

The monitor arm clamps on your desk, articulates really well, and although has a smaller range of motion than my Ergotron, is suitable for the small everyday articulation -- honestly, I don't move my monitors on a regular basis. Really enjoy the amount of room freed up on my desk.

Use it with a docked MacBook Pro with MonitorConrol (https://github.com/MonitorControl...orControl) to use the mac keys to adjust brightness.

Amazing price.

They are completely different monitors class. This one has 4k resolution. The other 2 are only 2k monitors and can't be compared.

I don't understand why people ask for apple vs orange comparison. Not trying to be an a$$ but what is the reason behind this question? If you need a 4k monitor, have the required hardware to run it at 4k, and can afford it then this is the only choice of the 3 monitors. If you don't have the GPU/hardware to run games/programs at 4k then this is a waste of a monitor.

It's a productivity monitor. You can game on any monitor your computer can drive, but there's really no point in buying this unless you're buying it for it's intended use.

Can someone give me an idea of the built-in speakers?
They will do in a pinch, but worse than my MacBook Pro speakers. Mostly output mid-range frequencies, kind of like average laptop speakers. YMMV.

Same. Prefer the joystick over visible buttons, but hated LGs software enough that I contemplated writing my own. Glad I searched in GitHub first! 😂

If you enjoy playing single player games and are OK with 60fps probably so. Though you'll need a strong card and probably DLSS to hit 4K on newer titles. If you play any multiplayer/comp games, you'd do better getting a monitor with less resolution, higher refresh rate

How can I tell if my laptop will work with a 4k monitor? Specs: 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 on the left side and 1 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C Display port on the right side. No HDMI ports, no usb A, no vga. Monitor will be used for work only.
Well, you could check your laptop's specs for video output resolution?

How is it for color accuracy, ease of calibration, etc...those things that matter for photo editing?

How long is the power cable? The last one I bought from LG had a relatively short cable, and since it is 3 prong, the extension cord is very thick and bulky.

Sorry not sure of exact measurement, but would guess 5ft+. It's all tucked away in my cable management.

Note: this one has an external brick. There are closeup pics of the brick and cables on Google.

Anyone have thoughts on this vs Dell U2720Q for a MacBook Pro 13? Liked the USB-C hub on the Dell, compatibility sounds solid (no weird sleep/wake issued etc), and great picture quality reviews. this is lower charging but bigger screen and $25 less than I paid for the dell.
What's the warranty on this LG? I know Dell has a 3 year warranty on their monitors. I have a U2719DC and love it but in need of an upgrade. I also believe the U2720Q has an extra usb c port while this only has one.
