Bought this monitor a few months ago, just be aware it doesn't come with an actual monitor stand you have to clamp it on your desk or drill a hole through your desk like I had to do to mount it which was easy. The monitor and stand are very heavy duty, solid price. It's usually $650 for these.

I bought this last year from Costco when it came on sale. Not a gamer, and use it for productivity apps and video consumption.

The monitor arm clamps on your desk, articulates really well, and although has a smaller range of motion than my Ergotron, is suitable for the small everyday articulation -- honestly, I don't move my monitors on a regular basis. Really enjoy the amount of room freed up on my desk.

Use it with a docked MacBook Pro with MonitorConrol (https://github.com/MonitorControl...orControl) to use the mac keys to adjust brightness.

Amazing price.

They are completely different monitors class. This one has 4k resolution. The other 2 are only 2k monitors and can't be compared.

I don't understand why people ask for apple vs orange comparison. Not trying to be an a$$ but what is the reason behind this question? If you need a 4k monitor, have the required hardware to run it at 4k, and can afford it then this is the only choice of the 3 monitors. If you don't have the GPU/hardware to run games/programs at 4k then this is a waste of a monitor.

Wow. Had no idea. So programmers prefer lower res monitors? For general productivity I would always take the crisper text on a high res, and deal with the occasional scaling issue. Is this because of particular software?
No. High res is better. Unless the software you run is shit and doesn't support scaling.

How does it look having split two screens? Does the screen look compressed?

Edit: I would like to use it as a monitor for stock trading.

The main point of my post isn't about resolution, but instead, it's about the size of the text at native resolution. If the text is too small, it'll be difficult to see. The size of the text is where you look at the PPI value.

This is the part that is relevant for example:

15" laptop 1366x768, 104.47 PPI , 0.2431mm dot pitch (very comfortable text size)
15" laptop 1920x1080, 146.86 PPI, 0.173mm dot pitch (text size too small)

104.47 ppi vs. 146.86 ppi. I'd say it would be very difficult to see letters at 146.86 ppi.

Imagine you have a 13" monitor that's 1920x1080. The text will be extremely small at native resolution. What you'll have in the 13" case at 1920x1080 native resolution is 169.45 PPI, 0.1499mm dot pitch.

Scaling actually works better than you think. You should try it and can always return if unsatisfied. I'm a programmer.
Not all applications support scaling. If it supports it, then there's no problem of course.

This monitor with vivid colors will give you headaches for sure, this LG panel is TV basically. Just go with Dell or Acer.

Is this comparable to the iMac M1 display?

I'm considering getting a Mac Mini and coupling with this display for a total of $1050 Vs the iMac for $1250

windows 10 has been out for more than 6 years. if the program doesn't support scaling then it needs to be abandoned.

Thanks. My issue with Dell monitors is that I hear they don't work well with the Apple m1 air, which I may have hooked to whatever monitor I get from time to time… like for instance the current Dell I have at home won't go RGB at all when connected to the m1, so far no fix
