this sounds like a decent deal, 2 for $48, making them $24 each.

this particular model seems to be sold by various branded sellers.

so after reading the reviews, buyers report that some of the bulbs didnt work form the start or stopped working within hours to a few weeks. reviewers said when trying to contact the seller they were non-responsive. so, you might want to purchase an extra set to 'exchange' the bad bulbs before returning.

after doing some more research it would appear that $25 is the going cost for a 45ft/15 light string without led lights.

What does it mean to tighten the bulb into a weather seal? Is a weather seal an actual thing or are you saying to make sure the bulbs are tightened snugly into the sockets so that they're sealed and protected from weather?

Yes, but Tip-tighten them. If you Base-tighten them, you're liable to electrocute yourself. Smilie

Im tired of seeing these lights on Slick deals and in general. Every 1 got em they are so played out. Any where you see these lights are hanging, cafes, resutarants, shops, private fences and anything to do outside establishment. Wish SD had a option of blocking out deals you dont want.
