Per Keepa, for example:

Bodum 11883-259US Melior Gooseneck Electric Water Kettle, 27 Ounces, Matte Black
  • Lowest price - $27.67 Aug 26, 2021
  • Current Price $27.67
  • Average price, $32 in last 90 days. So this is 13.5% less than average (aka, definition of not "regular price")
Chemex Pour-Over Glass Coffeemaker - Classic Series - 8-Cup - Exclusive Packaging
  • Lowest price - $34.98 Nov 8, 2019
  • Current Price - $35.99 (listed as out of stock)
  • Average price - $43.33 in last 90. So this is ~17% less than average (aka, definition of not "regular price")

I just got a chemex and love it. I'm no expert but noticed they have the consistently best reviews everywhere and they only cost a bit more.

Yeah - the only thing about Chemex is they recommend their paper filters, versus the others with reusable filters. The best reviewed reusable filters for Chemex are in the $30-range. tough call imo but agree with the unbeatable chemex reviews

Get the cheap one. It's not like technology exists to any great extent in a pour over coffee maker.

I've had 2 chemex, 2 bodum, and now we have the Cosori. The Chemex was a gift, and the new versions have thicker glass. The Bodum glass is thinner than both Chemex and Cosori. I like the Cosori the best based on the shape (super stable), thickness of glass, and the metal filter is great. The other 2 make great coffee too, but the paper filters also filter the oils in coffee (less flavor). There is no reason to spend an extra $20 on a name. Cosori FTW.

I am not crazy about the stainless steel filter because I would think that whatever rag (or thereabouts) that you use will get worn out fast. can you use other filters with it?
