I enjoyed it much more on my Quest 2 than my Samsung HMD Odyssey+. The only thing I can attribute to the reasoning for this is the immersion capabilities of being wireless. I was disappointed with the Quest 2 at first as it wasn't nearly as capable as it is now to be driven by a laptop. Games that worked flawlessly with the HMD headset would barely run on the Quest 2, wireless or not.

I bought a Quest 1 just to play this, and while I've played a few other games on it, nothing compares to me, so far. Virtual Desktop worked great with my strong WiFi signal, once I got it set up.
I really can't imagine anybody who enjoys gaming not loving this. If you are already a fan of the Half Life series, it's an absolute lock that you'll love this (unless you get motion sickness, I suppose!)
I plan to keep my Quest 1 until FB forces me to link it to my FB account (sometime next year if memory serves) and then I'll either buy an Index 2 (if Valve has something like that available,) or muddle along with the Quest 1 until something really revolutionary is released.
Maybe a Quest 3, but I'm hopeful that in 2 years time something much, much better without the Facebook compromises will be available - and yes, I'll be happy to spend ~2x the cost of a Quest to have no ties to The Social Network :-)
Anyway, if you have a VR setup that can play this, buy it - at this price it's a steal given the hours of quality entertainment and fun you're going to receive.
