Parasite is currently free to watch in HD on Kanopy [kanopy.com] with your library card, but at $4.99 for 4K/MA, I'll buy it.

Note that there's an upcoming spinoff series on HBO. I'd be surprised if they don't include the original as part of HBO Max also.

The Dead Don't Die may be one of the worst movies I have ever seen and it was loaded with talented actors. Just very flat and dry.

Is anyone else getting website freakouts for movies with a description that has a "more" link (like parasite)? It keeps furling and unfurling and reloading the page. Impossible to click anything. Good work Apple.

Ugh.. iTunes is so annoying. I don't have an iOS device, but I have AppleTV and iTunes on my Windows PC.

When I try to buy it via AppleTV, it says to connect through iTunes to confirm payment information.
When I try to buy it via iTunes, the app hangs.
Every other service lets you buy through a browser on any device.

I finally went to iTunes > Account > View My Account... > Manage Payments
to confirm my credit card, and then was able to buy from AppleTV.

Oh damn...I had that on my too watch list. It's worse? What's odd is I went back and looked at this director for The Dead Don't Die and he has some gems. Paterson was great amazingly

Not free, but I bet more people watch Hulu than Kanopy....Parasite is there in HD.

The Parasite is a really good movie, watched it a couple of times. But, I think somehow its been way overrated as well.
Having said that, few things which Hollywood can learn from Korean movies including the Parasite. In Korean movies they don't BS and sugarcoat everything, they just showed the common society issues they have without sugarcoating or making it politically correct.
They are bold, the subjects of few of the Korean movies are really bold and presented equally bold way.
What makes the Parasite a good movie was overall acting from everyone, especially the role of that Girl played Park So Dam.

Parasite is good, but it shouldn't have won as many awards as it did. In fact, the director's Memories of Murder should have been acknowledged for what it was in 2003, an absolute masterpiece.

I will agree its not Jarmusch's best work but it still has its moments...
