these towels are terrible. so thin. what an embarrassment for macys
I prefer smaller, thinner towels. I don't want to wrap myself in a huge thing that also clogs my washing machine. I want to dry myself off and get dressed. I love these towels. I got 12 of them before, and now I'm ordering 12 more. Then we can always have clean towels. Also, they weren't slimy with fabric softener like most other brands. They also hold up pretty well, and since they're cheap, if they stain, throw them away.

And yes, I've had luxury towels before. When I last came home from the resort, I luxuriated in these towels versus the "fancy" ones in Maui.
Your perspective seems very much in line with the comments -- people either love these towels or they hate them. Not much middle ground!

Get the towels, "Big One", when they go on sale from Kohl's. Granted, they aren't super amazing by any means, but they are better than these by a long shot. They are the best towels for the money, especially if you have kids who like to be hard on things.

The fact that they are thin is not necessarily a negative. I purchased these towels and appreciate the fast drying nature. If a towel was thick or lush I wouldn't say it was an embarrassment that it drys so slowly.

Wash your towels separately and don't use fabric softener or dryer sheets.

Also every couple washes, wash your towels with 1 cup vinegar and a second time with just 1 cup baking soda (neutralizes vinegar and odor). It will strip any oils and detergent from the towels and make them more water absorbent.

I believe it's $35 for free shipping, or something close to that. I got free shipping for 12 bath towels.

Sometimes cheap garbage is better. 20 cheap towels or 10 perfect towels.

it's $25 for free shipping, but they have a flat fee for AK/HI. Still worth the cost, considering local prices.

Just in time, my towels were getting pretty bad. Was waiting for an offer. I don't like thick towels, they take too long to dry. Thanks

Gotcha. I'm shipping to Cali and not HI this time. You should have mentioned it in the first post. What bothers me is when places won't even ship to Hawaii. Charge me more, but send me the darn thing!
