Just because it's their daily special doesn't mean it's a good deal. $180 for 1080p@165Hz isn't all that good. You should definitely be looking at a 240Hz+ version, and I'd just scoot the monitor closer and get a 25" with 240Hz, or buy a 27" 1440p at 144-165Hz if you've got the power to drive it.

So all these years we're told that 60 or 75hz is not enough o game and we need 144-165hz. Now you're telling people that 165hz is not enough and you need 240hz???

Since I have gamed for years at 60hz and continue to do so without issue, I had to laugh when I saw your new 240hz requirement. What's next after that?

I made so many mistake purchase wrong monitors.....
Here are some consideration....

If you want 27 in monitor... please get 1440p... and if you are going to use dual/triple/quad setup, make sure get IP panel....

Trust... been there... done wrong thing before..........
As far as FPS gaming, I don't believe unless you are such a special talent, you won't notice differnce between 144 hz and 165 hz...... and I believe there was a video that not many people will notice between 144 hz to 240 hz....

Of course no one has any issues gaming at 60-75 hz, if you're happy with that, then continue to do so. The person was just pointing out for this price point, you can get better specs, which might be helpful to people who are not experienced in shopping for monitors.
