Go to eBay to find an unlocked S9. Most S9's are going for $90-$140. Use this phone as a trade in. Be sure and check the description for the condition of the S9 phones. If the phones are cracked or have spots you won't receive the full $800 promo credit.

Thanks for the S9 trade in tip. I was at the verizon store when I read this and had just placed an order for a 13 pro and 13 pro Max. I was trading in an X and a Xs Max for $800 trade in credit each. I asked the rep if I could trade in the S9 for the same $800 credit and he confirmed I could and said he'll take care of it when I bring the trade in phones next Friday when the 13's come in.
Purchased a couple S9's locally from FB marketplace for $160/each. I now know I overpaid since I didn't realized verizon would take cracked screens but oh well. still a better deal and I can give my X to my son and sell the Xs Max for more than $160.
Verizon has the best customer service out of Sprint/T-Mobile/ATT.
Verizon, for most of the country, also provides the most reliable and fast service.
Ive tried all the major carriers and even tried MetroPCS a prepaid carrier - none come close to Verizon.
Only those who can't afford a phone plan from Verizon will come here and poo poo all over the company.
For those of us who already are on Verizon and paying for an Unlimited Plan this is an outrageously good deal - $800 over 2 years of billing credits.
I plan on keeping my Pro Max for 2 years anyways - but now I can get it for $300 instead of $1100 thats unheard of esp considering in the past most trade in deals required a new line / port in or required a phone that was released in the last 2-3 years.
I traded in my iPhone SE 2020 i purchased from the Walmart Slickdeal 1.5 years ago for $200.
So i used a phone for 1.5 years and Verizon gave me $400 over retail and $600 over what i paid? Sounds like pretty good customer service to me
