There could definitely be some other factors, but within days after I used this shampoo from the last sale, my elderly dog got a skin infection. Yellow, crusty, flakey, itchy skin with hair loss. After some antibiotics and steroids from the vet, he is doing better, but still has a few patches that haven't healed up yet. YMMV.

Looking at 7000+ positive reviews, I'd say your dog's issue was caused by "other factors".

Thanks OP.

I e used this a few times on the pup. It works good, and for the price I'd recommend. I've maybe used 6 different brands over the years and Arm Hammer is pretty solid

This shampoo works. It takes out the worst odors and leaves her coat soft and shiny.

This product contains formaldehyde. It is most likely the culprit for drying your dogs skin and fur out.

It's typical review for any pet stuff, there will be someone's dog or cat died after using the product.
