That doesn't seem right since a coupon and method of payment are two separate things. At a restaurant or retail establishment, a gift card should be treated no differently than cash or credit card. I'm not disagreeing with you - just disagreeing with the policy.

is TDB still sending out coupons? - previously they used to send so many coupons that i never ate there without using a coupon. I haven't received any since Covid started.

I laughed hard at the Boomer comment. So true.

Accidentally ate a Landry's restaurant the other night in Alaska and it was so mediocre compared the rest of local restaurants on the trip. (It was a Monday offseason, so limited options)

If you're going to be at disney/downtown disney and going to be eating at TREX cafe with your kids, this is worth it. It was also nice using it at Joe's Crab Shack.

Landry's (1 time payment) membership card also has some good perks (faster seating, sometimes better service) and you "make your money" back on the 2nd visit, and has a birthday credit. Aparently also has discounts at some rental car places, but I haven't tried.

eh.. sometimes they're better. It all depends. For example Muggiano's is better than almost all the 'Italian' local places around me with the exception of 2 with one being double the price.

The other posters need to get off their high hipster horses with the childish "lcm" "most mundane" comments. Support local eateries any chance you get, but these have a place.

A lot of Doggin on Landrys restaurants.

Not all are bad

The group covers all tiers. casual walk-in restaurant, mid-tier and high end.

For example in New York Mortons and Del Friscos are really good restaurants / steakhouses.
and certainly Vic and Anthonys in Las Vegas.

maybe more like apples vs oranges.
Many times it's better to just get a good ribeye rather than a bunch of meats that you wouldn't even eat otherwise.
Sometimes you just want to eat a bunch of meat...in that case, yeah, texas de brazil is better.
