Open Venmo and find an offer for Panda Express under Featured QR Offers.
Go to Panda Express store and order more than $10
Choose pay with QR code in Venmo app
Deal valid thru Nov 9, 2021
When you are on the main screen of Venmo there are four icons across the bottom of the screen. Click the one that looks like a person with a dollar sign over their shoulder. Then click the little gear in the upper right corner of the screen. Then scroll down to where it says offers and memberships and click on that. Then click on find more offers. I have four offers there. One is $10 back when paying with venmo QR code at CVS and $10 at foot locker and $10 at Giant Eagle grocery store and the $10 off at Panda express. Venmo did a really good job of hiding these offers. It's a miracle that anybody actually found it and posted it on here. (Thank you)
Seems like a fine deal, but I think if I ever went to Panda and asked to pay with QR code, the cashier wouldn't know what to do.
Go to setting on the right lower icon then under setting it is under "buying" section, u will see an offer section. I literally just found out too

I think I'd rather die than live my life like this. Risk of surface transmission is very low. Never touch your face until you wash your hands and your risk will be virtually nothing. More chance of dying while driving home.
Agreed. But I would still rather do what that person did than die. LOL.
Got the Panda Express bigger plate which is $9.70 in my area, on Monday. After tax, it pushed the total to be greater than $10. Just got the credit today, Friday. It took around ~4 business days to get the credit back to my Venmo account, so slightly faster than some others that had it come in 5 days, but YMMV.
Going to grab it again with the wife's phone. In for another lunch for less than 50 cents. Just redeemed the offer at CVS yesterday with an Amazon gift card, but I have no doubt it'll credit my account, just have to wait. Slickdeal!
When you reach the self-checkout screen where you're supposed to choose the payment method, you just simply scan the QR code, the transaction will complete and then the receipt will print. Don't choose a payment method. Just scan.
I tried both ways. Both failed. Not sure what happened. Either way, definitely not a reliable payment system

But that person isn't doing this as an isolated incident. Imagine living your life so afraid to touch anything in the universe. Can you really live comfortably that way? It would be pure misery. Death would definitely be on the table.

Yeah that would be awful but I think that person was only doing that when shopping.
Since Covid started, I never swipe my card at POS, fearing any virus sticking to my card. I always bring it close to POS to make contactless payment. Similarly, Venmo and Paypal QR are going to be my favorite but not many merchants accept them yet.
Why not just stop licking your credit cards? Works for me.

Why would you think that person only does that during shopping? Its the germs that person is afraid of. Anything that anyone has ever touched that person is afraid of. It doesnt matter if its in a store or not. I'm pretty sure that person lives their entire life this way.
