I don't think so. I bought this monitor couple of weeks back and i am not finding PBP options in the monitor settings.

How does this compare the similarly-spec'd Acer Costco is also selling for $30 less?

This is 100 NITs brighter than the Acer, 250 brightness on the Acer is pretty bad.

LG has software that allows you to split up the screen (OnScreen Control)

Keep in mind that even though they tout this as a gaming monitor, it has a 75Hz refresh rate, and a 5ms response time (IPS screen), as seen in the specs for this model on LG's website: https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg...hd-monitor. You can game on it but depending on the type of games you play and if your video card can support it, it won't be as good as for instance their 32" UItraGear series (32GN650-B) which has a 165Hz refresh and down to 1ms response time (VA screen), that is $299 list price ($50 higher list price than this model) on LG's website: https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg...ng-monitor.

And no, the monitor is not cheaper in the warehouse versus online.

144hz for gamers only. Nobody else cares if it is even above 60hz. I may get this for my buddy who does a lot of audio/video work and can use the size and resolution combo. The 99% sRGB color gamut makes it decent for color accuracy as well. This would be a solid productivity monitor as well, even in the office. And guess what, you can still game on it. I use a monitor like this and a lowly GTX 1650 and torch guys with 144hz VRR monitors w/ top of the line systems w/ RTX 3070+. Why? Because they suck and I don't. Reminds me of drivers on track days who modify the heck out of their cars but can't drive worth a dime and still get smoked by Miatas, or those guys who spend a fortune on all the best ski gear and look like the Three Stooges on the slopes. High end gaming rigs are nice, but the tiny edge they give you in games will never make up for actual skill and experience.

After getting this monitor I purchased 165Hz version because the specs were so much better for only $50 more. So I had these monitors side by side and the viewing angles on the 165Hz version were horrendous. With the monitor just under 3 feet away I had to literally move my head side to side in order to see to the edge of the monitor. In addition there was a weird 3D affect at the edges of the monitor. I'm just using the monitor for work (e.g., productivity apps) and not for gaming so the decision was easy.

Yes, to use it for work purposes only that decision should have been pretty easy there, IPS is far superior (the king) for viewing angles over a VA screen. I was only talking about gaming usage in my comment. Thanks for the update on that!
