Good video on the camera but even at the lowest motion settings I get alerts from bugs flying in the lights all night long. I wish they could update the software to better solve this issue.

Works great during the day. However, at night, good luck detecting a bad guy unless he's 5 ft away from the camera.

I just installed one of these to upgrade the original 1080p version and found it to be a downgrade. It has 130 degree field of view while the 1080 version has 140 degree. I see no improvement in image quality. Maybe I got a bad lens, but it actually looks worse in bright light than the old one.

It's supposed to have AI built in for human detection. Did you set the Notification to Person Alerts?

The Human Only option is available for the Eufy video doorbells but not the video floodlights. I wish it was.

Really? That's unfortunate. It's mentioned a couple of times right there in the product description and in a few of the user reviews.

Positive.. If people are saying there is a human detection then they may have a Eufy video camera or doorbell.. Its not an option on my floodlight app. I've even checked for updates. . I will get on my PC and post a screenshot of the settings page for you to see.

I have both the original and the 2k floodlight cameras. 2k certainly does have human detection. Original does not.

I second this. On 2k flood I see two detection type, human only or all motion. I don't have the original to compare but I had foscam 2k flood and the eufy 2k was way better, clearer picture and less fisheye lens distortion.

Bought the first gen in March of 2020. The left LED floodlight burned out after 14 months (just out of the 1 year warranty) and the right LED floodlight just burned out a few weeks ago. Eufy support told me I have to buy a new unit as they don't sell any replacement parts.

I noticed the version that Best Buy is selling has LED floodlights that are round and looks like it has cooling fins. The one Amazon is selling looks to have lights identical to the one I have. Odd that they would have different designs for different retailers.

I'd say buyer beware unless their quality control has improved. I had no complaints about the camera portion though.

This! Constantly. The motion detection on these is fundamentally flawed. I own some of their other standard cameras and only the floor light seems to have this problem.
