here's their dropdown picklist from their warranty claim website of why you need a replacement. as you can see, the transducers rattling is a known issue.
Love mine.

These are hand-washable, last a couple days of moderate use between charges. I've gotten no complaints using the mic for calls.

Listening to podcasts or books while doing housework or other drudgery makes the tasks so much more pleasant. "Oh, I guess I'm finished. Pity there's nothing else to do."

Works lag-free when watching videos on my phone or on Chromecast w/ Google TV. Unfortunately there is lag when using them on the Nintendo Switch (new feature on the latest firmware): about 3/4 of a jump's worth of lag in Super Mario World and Ninja Gaiden.
If you're a sound quality snob you're not using bluetooth headphones anyway. You're using some dac/amp setup huddled over a record player using a set of cans nobody has heard of

These are so much better than the earlier versions. Give them a try again if you were underwhelmed.

If you're a sound quality snob, you may not be entirely thrilled with this... Personally though, I love these things. You can listen to a podcast or music with it on while having a conversation with someone. You also don't really have to worry about it falling off, so it's great for sports too.

For the cons... I do wish that they didn't use a proprietary charger. I also can't personally lay down with these on, because it juts out a bit on the back of my head. I don't have many other complaints though. Overall, I love these things and use them almost every day

I love good sound quality - but I love these. I think there's a place for them. I'm actually at the office right now and wearing them (I wear them for most of the work day). They sound good and allow me to continue my conversations while still playing music. I'm actually okay with the proprietary charger ONLY because they included TWO cables in the packaging so I keep one at home and one at work. It's easy to connect with the mag-safe styled charger. My spotify usage has gone way up most likely haha.
One note though. I have an average-sized head and use the "mini" version of these so can't comment on how much larger the normal size are.

You can get knock off chargers off Amazon for cheap and that are longer and work just as well.

Anyone use these while cycling? I'm curious about how the mic works for that application, and whether they'd work as an intercom headset for two riders (using a simple voice call as the intercom).

I have the cheaper set not this higher end set with better battery life and not sure what else is really different, but I love them for the gym and my runs.

Can confirm, solid deal. I've been using mine a lot. I would buy them again if they broke. I use them mostly for telecommunications.

Can anyone comment on wearing these with hearing aids for team meetings?

I have these and use them for running all the time. The sound quality for music is very good and I can still hear ambient noise. They're also perfect for phone calls while I'm inside the house.

The other day my wife called me while I was out for a run and she had trouble understanding what I was saying but I heard her fine - it was windy and I was moving so it's hard to say how well it would work for cycling.
